Endorsed as “Qualified” by the Committee for a Qualified Judiciary

After a thorough examination of my qualifications, the bi-partisan Committee for a Qualified Judiciary (“CQJ”) determined that I am qualified for the bench I am seeking.

The CQJ was formed in 1981 to examine candidates in contested races for legal ability, integrity, judicial temperament and a commitment to a fair and impartial administration of justice. The CQJ consists of over 150 civic and community leaders, including some of the most prominent attorneys in Dallas.

The evaluation process was comprehensive and included a lengthy, in-depth written submission, background and reference checks, and extensive interviews with the candidates.

I am pleased that the CQJ endorsed me as “Qualified.” I am running for the bench because I genuinely believe that I have the necessary ability, integrity, temperament and desire to be a good trial judge. Fortunately, voters just don’t have to take my word for it – a prestigious judicial evaluation committee has confirmed my qualification for the bench.
